Already Hillingdon Borough Champions and Bronze medal winners at the London Youth Games, The Breakspear School boys' football team have just added 'Middlesex Cup Winners' to their impressive list of titles this season after they lifted the Alf Gant Cup last Friday. 

During a tense final away at Martin Primary School, East Finchley, Breakspear fell behind in the second half before finding a dramatic equaliser with just two minutes to go.  Alfie Kernot was able to react first to the loose ball after the keeper had dived to his left to keep out a Sean Alexander shot.  Both teams then pushed for a win but, after twenty minutes extra time, an dno further score, the match was to be settled on penalties.  In a nervous final, the hero of the hour was Breakspear keeper Joshua Abrahams who stopped four out of five penalties to set up the win!
