The Government had introduced a new initiative to provide a free lunch
to every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
We have no kitchen and as the school had all its heating replaced
over the summer holiday, we could not make the necessary arrangements
to provide a hot meal, so initially the children had a sandwich lunch.
By half term however we had made the required changes 
and on Monday 3 November we began offering hot meals.
