Monday 17 November and after a journey into London on the Central Line
we find ourselves in front of the British Museum.
Time for a quick snack before Mrs O'Donnel tells us it is time to go in.

But not before a short pause for a group photograph.

Once inside we head for the ground floor galleries.
We get some instructions first ...

Giant beetles and carved stones, 

the Rosetta Stone,

There was much to see that linked with our work at school ...

After lunch we went upstairs to see the wall paintings
and small everyday objects.

Mrs O'Donnell helped us understand what we were looking at.

Though some things didn't need too much explaining!
