Days before the end of their final school year at Breakspear Y6 presented four great performances of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy at her home in Kansas, sings of her dreams - Over the Rainbow

The workmen on her uncle and aunt's farm are fearful of a whirlwind ..

however, the broadcasters on the radio station put their minds at rest.

But the 'twister' does arrive.

Dorothy finds herself waking up in Oz where three things happen, her fall kills the Wicked Witch of the East; she is discovered by the Munchkins; and she is greeted by the Good Witch of the North - Glinda.



Dorothy is hailed as a hero for killing the witch.



She is presented with the magical red shoes of the Wicked Witch of the East, but soon the equally wicked sister, the Wicked Witch of the West, arrives on the scene demanding the shoes for herself - and none to pleased that Dorothy is the cause of her sister's death.

Dorothy wants to return home to Kansas. Glinda advises that she visits the great Wizard of Oz for help - to find him, follow the yellow brick road.
