9 February 2007  ~ Britain since 1930 - 6G's Day

6G headed off West Ruislip Station and London

They were looking forward

... to the day ahead.

First stop, St Paul's and a pause for a photo,
though someone forget to say smile!

Then across the Millennium Bridge to Tate Modern.
"Now this is my sort of Modern Art!"
They're still not smiling, must be the cold and rain!

Off then for a brisk walk to the Britain at War Experience just by London Bridge.

There was much to see...

and find about about.

Some people to meet...

and costumes to draw ....

... before trying them on

Finally 6G sat in the air raid shelter to listen to the sounds of war
above their heads,
before setting off for home
- grateful that they were leaving those sounds of war behind them!
