6S Investigates Britain since 1930

The train took us from West Ruislip to St Paul's Cathedral.

As we crossed the River Thames we had a great view.

Inside Tate Modern we saw this year's installation in the Turbine Hall:
Miroslaw Balka's 'How It Is'.  It is all about the fear of the dark

After exploring 20th Century art at Tate Modern
we walked east along the Embankment passing a replica of the Golden Hind.

In the Britain at War Experience we were able to dress up in uniforms
of the Second World War...

and look at the exhibits to find out about life in London during the blitz.

We then headed back to Ickenham and home.
