The foundations for the walls now being in place building materials now need to be got to the quadrangle. It would be too time consuming to take everything through with a wheel barrow so the decision is to lift everything needed into the quadrangle by crane. The staff car park in front of the school is closed on Friday 2 May to allow the delivery of all the material to be 'craned in'. |

Since the workmen will also use the crane to put in place the aggregate on which will be built the ground floor, they prepare the area with vertical rods which will give strength to the base. |
