The trenches are dug in the quadrangle and we have been eagerly awaiting 
the arrival of the concrete that will fill then.  
It is Tuesday 29 April and a special vehicle arrives at the school.  At the rear of the vehicle is a recess into which the concrete will be poured, and to it is connected a series of pipes that, when joined together go from the vehicle, along the path, 
through the school and into the quadrangle.

All is ready for the concrete!  11.30 a.m. and the first 'mixer' arrives 
and pours its load into the recess.

The liquid concrete arrives in the quadrangle and is directed into the trenches.  As it fills the holes a special mixer is used to help evenly distributed the heavy material in the concrete and to remove any trapped air.

Checks are made to ensure that as the concrete sets it is level.
