The external walls were
constructed in two parts: |

The view from the top of the main building showed the studio taking shape. |

In some parts of the building the walls do not go from floor to ceiling. These areas need special 'weight bearing' beams. Here is the long one that will support the wall and roof above the storage area off the main studio space. |

And here it is in place. |

By now the walls were now nearly all in place. Once the roof structure was in place the bricks were to be added at the two shorter ends to fill the triangular shapes. |
|
|
|
It was Friday 9th May and the frames for the roof arrived. |
