We set off from school, using footpaths all the way to Denham.

Once we arrived one group sketched the river environment, 
while the other studied river flow speeds.
Later we changed over the activities.

Then it was time for lunch!

The afternoon began with a study of Denham Deep Lock.
We were lucky because a boat arrived needing to to use the lock 
- we gave a helping hand!

Then it was time to set off back to school.
