We set off from school, using footpaths all the way to Denham.
In places the grass was very high!

Finally we crossed the bridge over the Grand Union Canal, 
we had arrived at Denham Country Park .

First, some drawing and studies of river speed.

Then a well needed lunch!

After lunch we walked to Denham Deep Lock, 
stopping to look at the River Colne along the way.

While we were at the lock we saw a boat pass through, 
giving a helping hand where needed.

After some time beside the canal to draw the environment, 
it was time to head back to school.
