Day 1, continued

Once down from the Heights of Abraham we thought that was end of walking 
for the day - mistake!
Even worse, it was uphill on the other side of the valley as we explored
Matlock Bath - 18th Century holiday resort. 

You get the general idea?
(Mr. Rutter says he does this sort of thing for pleasure!)

Eventually we're back on the coach and heading off for the Youth Hostel at Eyam, 
our rooms and then a very welcome evening meal.
After a quiet time to write about what we'd been doing on our first day...

We were able to go to a nearby sports field for some games.
