Day 3 |

Then onto the
coach and north to Castleton. For both groups this was a wet day, |
|
|
|
The main visit was to Treak Cliff Cavern, the home of Blue John. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
But also the home of stalagmites and stalactites. |
|
|
|
|
|
Back into the open and time for a quick photo |
|
|
|
before lunch. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
For the first group, it was still dry enough for a walk across country. |
|
|
|
While for the second, the road route was safer. |
|
|
|
There was just
enough time to take a look at the village of Castleton |
|
|
|
|
|
before finding the coach for the journey back to Ickenham. |
|
|
|
It had been a great trip and, as you can see, we thoroughly enjoyed it. |
