Monday 30 June and
4H set off on a bright sunny day |

The route takes them
through the golf course, between quarries, |

They pose in front of upturned trees ..... |

and cross the River Colne. |

When they arrive it's time for a
snack before seeking out the River Missbourne |
|

|
Here they conduct experiments to
measure the river's speed of flow. |

On the way back a
pause at Denham Deep Lock, but alas, no barge passing through. |
