2008 - Staff Room

The last week of term was very difficult for the Infant School because everything had to be moved out of the Office. Once the holiday started the cupboard wall was knocked down and a window cut into the external wall at the far end.

When the internal walls came down it was found that extra support for the ceiling (and the new Junior staff work room above) was needed. A metal joist was obtained and fitted into place.


Once that was in place the new window could be fixed. Since the office was being redesigned, including some new furniture, a new radiator was fitted, the trunking for the electrics and the computer moved and the whole room redecorated ready for the new furniture in the week before the start of term.

Just days before the start of term and the furniture arrives and is fitted.

And here we are, at the start of the autumn term; everything in place and decorations to celebrate the 'opening'!
